New year, new club, new programme
It's a new year, and Positive Vibrations Waipa is gearing up to launch the first of what we hope to be many positive programmes for our youth across the Waipa in 2024.
In partnership with the Hautapu Junior Netball team we have begun planning a netball development programme for Year 7/8 netballers in Cambridge. The goal of this programme is to support young netballers to achieve their fitness and netball goals while having heaps of fun!
Weather it is your first time playing or netball is your first choice sport, there will be something for everyone. This programme will provide more opportunities for more players to participate and develop a life long love of netball.
Positive Vibrations is also committing to supporting community coaches to grow their coaching confidence through coach development opportunties. We will be extending an invitation to coaches to come along to the netball development programme as a shadow coach to get some hands on experience and become part of a supportive coaching network.
It is an exciting time for the team at Positive Vibrations as the launch of our first programme has been a long time coming. We are working really hard to get all our ducks in a row so we can open up registrations. In the meantime, if you are or you know of anyone who would be keen to participate in this programme, put a place holder in your diary for the following times.
- Year 7 programme - every Tuesday from 13 Feb - 26 March from 4:45 - 6:15pm
- Year 8 programme - every Tuesday from 13 Feb - 26 March from 6:30 - 8:00pm
